These terms apply when BARKATI (“we”, “us”), a website design business based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, builds or looks after a website for you (“you”, the client). By approving a demo or paying an advance, you agree to these terms.
1. What we do
We design, build and host websites for businesses. What each plan includes (pages, features, delivery time and revisions) is described on our plans page and confirmed in writing before you pay. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
2. Free demo
We build a homepage demo free of charge after you share your business details. You have no obligation to buy. The demo design remains ours until you pay the advance.
3. Price and payment
- The price is the fixed price of your chosen plan, confirmed in writing before any payment.
- You pay 50% when you approve the demo and the remaining 50% before the website goes live.
- Where GST applies, it is added and shown separately on the invoice.
- Payment is by UPI or bank transfer.
4. Timelines
Delivery times are counted in working days from the day we receive all the content we need (logo, photos, services, rates, timings, address). If content or feedback is delayed, the deadline moves by the same number of days.
5. Revisions and changes
Each plan includes the revision rounds listed on the plans page. Please send all changes for a round in one list. Small changes are free for 30 days after launch. New pages, new features or a redesign are quoted separately.
6. Your content
You confirm that you have the right to use the text, photos, logos and other material you give us, and that people shown in photos have agreed to appear. You are responsible for the accuracy of your prices, offers and any professional or medical information on your website.
7. Ownership
After full payment, the domain is registered in your name and we hand over the website code. We keep the right to reuse our general templates, components and know-how for other clients, and to show your website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8. Hosting and the Care plan
- The Care plan (₹199/month or ₹1,999/year) is optional for Starter and Business. It covers hosting, SSL, backups, uptime checks, updates and 2 small changes a month.
- Growth websites run on our server, so their monthly server & care fee is required for the admin panel to work.
- Care fees are paid in advance for the month or year. You can stop at the end of any paid period.
- If a care fee is unpaid for 30 days after a reminder, we may pause the service.
- When you stop, we help you move the website to your own hosting account.
9. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel after approving the demo, the advance covers the work already done and is not refunded. If we are unable to deliver what we agreed in writing, we refund what you paid for the part we did not deliver.
10. Other services
Websites depend on services such as domain registrars, Cloudflare and Google. We are not responsible for their outages or policy changes, but we will help you work around them.
11. No guarantee of results
We set up your website and its search basics properly, but no one can guarantee search rankings, enquiries or sales. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction. We will always try to resolve a problem by talking first.
13. Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. Projects already confirmed in writing follow the terms that applied when they were confirmed. Questions: info@barkati.in.
